For most of my life people have been telling me I am pretty creative.
My learning story revolves around me being creative, without the skill, I would not be where I am today.

I'm not sure where I would consider to be the start of my learning story but I can say it was probably when I was back in grade 7. Since then I would say I've been interested in programming. In maker class there was a unit on scratch, a tool to help young people get into “coding”. It wasn't then I discovered scratch but it was then when I actually started making projects with it. In hindsight they weren't that good but at the moment I thought they were good. I would continue to use scratch to make games that were played by a few hundred people but nothing actually impressive. It wasn't until June of 2021 where I started programming.

I started off only making mods for using c#, although I would never publish the mods I would use them with friends. After spending some time doing that I ended up getting bored.

I needed to find something to do during that summer to keep me busy, and as most would play games I made games. With my new programing skills in c# I was able to easily adapt my skills to make games in unity. I would spend those 2 months working at making a game, it was playable, could be beaten in under a minute and had no challenge. I wouldn't end up uploading it because it was not finished but school had started again.

Although there was little to no time to make games i still did, i made a few games nobody played.

When choosing courses for grade 11 I saw there was a video game making course which I took.

I also managed to get in the grade 12 course as well due to my prior experience.

I didn’t learn anything but was able to help my friends and make games of my own.

My skills in making games improved over time.

The games I was making were no longer 30 second games that nobody would play, one notable game is Cheese Forest.

After spending a long time on this game it was my most complicated game that was actually enjoyable for the player.

The playtime was around 15 to 30 minutes with secrets, challenges, side quests, and cheese.

For a long time this game was the best game I had made so far.

Having made a relatively decent amount of games, many with varying quality, I tried out making applications. These applications were made using visual studios, same things I used to make mods for the game previously mentioned. Knowing most of the c#’s syntax I was easily able to create these programs. The programs I made were tools designed to help play/automate the very game I was creating the mods for those few years ago.

One of those programs became and still is my most downloaded game/program to date with over 300 downloads and counting.

I don't remember exactly when but I had the idea of making a

realistic game. With my, at this point 2 years, of knowledge

making games i was able to create a relatively realistic game

with features such as AI, crafting and items. This game would

become my most downloaded game and saw a few people prefer

this game over many others of its kind. When I uploaded the

game I marked it as a demo, there was no real challenge, but it

was more of a proof of concept, and I planned on making a full

game out of it one day. Downlead Link

After getting bored of making games, and after unity not being so helpful i decided to move on to other stuff. So i decided to learn HTML. HTML is the foundation of websites, without HTML websites would not function, essentially i wanting to learn web development. I was not ready for how easy it was to create websites, I quickly learned the basics of HTML, css and javascript, being able to create websites with only 2 days of practice. After a week of using HTML i was able to create a website better than the one i had before, which was just hosted off of Google sites which anyone could quickly and easily do themselves. With all the knowledge I gained over the few years of programming I gave myself a reputation for creating programs, games and websites. Everyone I know said I had great talent and am way past the level that I should be at.
For both of my wanted career paths I would be going to university to get a type of bachelors of computer science.
This should hopefully allow me to get a job that I want in a field that I want.
I also get to learn a lot about how computers, servers, services, databases, websites, internet and more work.

As my first career option I'd want something along the lines of a software engineer.

I like the idea of being able to design, create and publish applications. I have always liked coding as I've said before and getting a job that requires me to actually apply my skills would be ideal. Not only do I get to do something I like but in the process of getting the required skills I get to learn more about how computers work which I want to know more about. My knowledge on computers is decent but by no means do I know a lot about them, despite what others would say.

The pay for a job like this is about $30/h, however I wouldn't necessarily be in it for the money. As long as I get enough money and can have fun doing a job I like, I won't complain.

The future of this job is confusing for most, many people say AI will take over however those who acutely know the backend would say otherwise. AI is just as useful as a computer to a person with bad handwriting, although it helps, it's not necessarily going to change to ruin the world and take it over.

My second career path would probably be web development, originally I would probably be a game developer however the more I make websites the more i enjoy that more.

I already have a decent knowledge of how web development works, after all this is made on the web. I plan on widening my skills to be hired as a web developer or backend web developer. A job like this also allows me to be creative and allows me to apply my skills in a practical application.

The pay on average is $30/h, but like in the first career path, as long as i am happy with my job i don't really care about the pay.

In my opinion web development/design is an easier profession then my first plan, seeing as i can already do web development and design.
